Party in the Dining Room

Almost all the duplex homes in Mount Carmel consisted of three rooms on the lower floor. They were the kitchen, dining roon and parlor. "Dining room" is a misnomer in terms of how the room was typically used. It might more accuractly be called "family room".

The contorted gentleman on the chair is "Red" Johns. An obvious choice for attendance at any party.
