1900Census
Mary and Thomas Poznansky marry on July 24, 1908. There are no newspaper accounts of this wedding. It may be because the narriage took place in Patton, PA and the Hook clan found the distance to Patton a bit too challanging. Patton is a tiny town nestled in the mountains Northwest of Altoona. It would be fascinating to learn how Mary and Thomas met and made their way to that rather remote spot.

In the 1910 census (below), about 2 years later, Mary is listed as being married to John Theodorowich. And they are living in Sykesville, about 40 miles North of Patton, with a daughter named Olga. Thomas had taken on a new name upon becoming an Orthodox priest.

john was ordained less than two weeks after he and Mary married.

Census
In 1910 John and Mary are living in Sykesville, PA on Main Street. Their first chilkd, Olga, is not yet one year old.

1900Census
In 1920 John and Mary are living at 812 Huey Street, in MeKeesport, PA. their children are Olga 10, Anna 8, Theodore 6, and Dorothy 2. John is an Orthodox Catholic priest. Best guess is that he was associated the John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in McKeesport.

1900Census
In 1930 John and Mary are living at 812 Huey Street, in MeKeesport, PA. their children are Olga 20, Anna 18, Theodore 17, and Dorothy 12.

1900Census
In 1940 John and Mary are still living at 812 Huey Street, in MeKeesport, PA not too distant from the confluence of the Youghiogheny River with the Manongahela river. The children still at home are Theodore 27, and Dorothy 22. Olga had married and living in Mount Carmel, PA. There is only uncertainty about Anna.

1900Census
In 1950 Mary and John are aging now, nearing 70, and living at the same Huey Street home with their unmarried, unemployed daughter Dorothy, 32. It can safely be assumed that Dorothy was assisting her parents with their daily affairs as they made their way through life on a rather modest but sufficient incomme. Or..... maybe it was Dorothy that required assistance.

Sometime after 1950 they moved to Jenny Lind Street in McKeesport.

1900Census
Mary dies at 83 of heart disease in 1969. John had passed away 9 years earlier.

Dorothy died seven years after Mary.
